Cabling
- Do you already know which type of cable you are looking for: CAT 5e/6/6e…? Or is it re-termination and testing of existing cabling?
- How many points or floor plates you are looking for, and are they single or double points? Don’t forget printers, fax machines and networked photocopiers in calculating points.
- Are they all in the same room/area, and do you have plans of the space?
Do you have false floors, or suspended ceilings in the areas you want cabling, or will your installation require dado trunking?- Is the installation to happen over multiple floors, if so do you have risers or ducts between floors for cable access?
- Are any of the cable runs outdoors?
