    Do you already know which type of cable you are looking for: CAT 5e/6/6e...? Or is it re-termination and testing of existing cabling? How many points or floor plates you are looking for, and are they single or double points? Don't forget printers, fax machines and networked photocopiers in calculating points. Are they all in the same room/area, and do you have plans of the space?

    Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as Cat-6, is a cable standard for Gigabit Ethernet and is backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards. Cat-6 features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise.
