Reliable Performance
802.11n indoor and outdoor access points provide high performance across large areas – classrooms, auditoriums, outdoor spaces, and housing. Self-configuring, self-optimizing access points with top of the line hardware support high-bandwidth wireless applications with less hardware and minimal setup.
Multi-Media Savvy
Ethernet-like 802.11n performance and easy-to-use Quality of Service (QoS) features bring multimedia- including voice and high definition video – into the classroom without the wires.
Web-Based Central Management
Meraki’s browser-based cloud controller lets you administer networks from any web browser. From schools across a district to remote campuses and student housing, you can monitor and manager your wireless networks and support users remotely, without on-site IT staff.
Intuitive Access Control
Be it 802.1x authentication with Active Directory, Single Sign On with Google Apps accounts, or splash pages for visitors, access control policies can be set quickly and easily – with no specialized training and no hassle.
NEW FEATURE ALERT – Prepaid cards for billing SSIDs
With Meraki you can easily setup a billing SSID and charge users for wifi internet access. This currently requires a major credit card, with Meraki doing the payment processing and payout.
With prepaid cards, you can create a batch of PIN codes with a user-defined value and time that can be sold to customers, or given away for short term internet access.
You can configure your billing SSIDs to accept prepaid cards, credit cards, or both. If you want to take the list of prepaid cards #’s and actually print physical cards, or stickers, you can do a Microsoft Word mail merge, using the prepaid card csv file.
You can create prepaid card’s under Configure->Prepaid Cards.
